Who’s Going too Take You Home?

Who's Going to Drive You Home?

I have received the most wonderful series of art films…  I will not post them until I have permission,  but want you all to know, those who have access to this blog..  that there will be a wonderful series of videos coming to this site soon, maybe those, maybe others, for sure the ones I have done.

You Don’t Know My Mind

Home of the Leprechaun

The singer of this song is one of the most talented men of our time. His name is Hugh Laurie. If you are an American or watch American tv, you will know him as the irascible doctor know only as “House”. But if do a little research, you will find that he is an accomplished pianist, classical AND blues, a stage performer, as both a musician and a comedian. He’s hilariously funny when he wants to be, and incredibly talented in everything I have seen him perform. Enjoy his music. :)

Walking down the levee with my head down low
Looking for my mama but she ain’t here no more
Baby you don’t know, you don’t know my mind
When you see me laughing, I’m laughing just to keep from crying

She won’t cook my dinner, won’t wash my clothes
Won’t do nothing but walk the road
Baby you don’t know, you don’t know my mind
When you see me laughing, I’m laughing just to keep from crying

My breakfast on the table and my coffee’s getting cold
And mama’s in the kitchen getting sweet papa told
Baby you don’t know, you don’t know my mind
When you see me laughing, I’m laughing just to keep from crying

Sometimes I think my baby’s too good to die
Sometimes I think she should be buried alive
Baby you don’t know, you don’t know my mind
When you see me laughing, I’m laughing just to keep from crying

I wish I had a nickel, I wish I had a dime
I wish I hadn’t give myself a bad women’s time
Baby you don’t know, you don’t know my mind
When you see me laughing, I’m laughing just to keep from crying

Look at you mama, see what you gone & done
You got my money now you broke and run
Baby you don’t know, you don’t know my mind
When you see me laughing, I’m laughing just to keep from crying

You made me get mad and you made me get sad
the Going gets tougher than we never had.
Baby you don’t know, you don’t know my mind
When you see me laughing, I’m laughing just to keep from crying
